VeWorld Quick Start Guide

• Firstly hit Get Started and Select Create new wallet on the Wallet Setup screen.
  
  
• You will now be asked to secure your wallet using either your device's biometric (like a fingerprint, or your Face ID) or by creating a password. You can change the password anytime. 
  
  

  This password will be used only for the device you are currently using. If you import your wallet onto another device, you will need to set up a new password there. We strongly recommend keeping your password safe and secure.

  
  

• We strongly recommend backing up your wallets Secret Recovery Phrase as soon as you are in a secure location to do so. 
  
  
• Once you are, go to settings in the bottom left and you will see a red banner at the top. Select Backup Now then tap the flashing warning Backup your mnemonic phrase. Enter your password when prompted.
  
  
• You will now see your Seed Phrase at the bottom of the page. This is a series of 12 words that are unique to your wallet and serve as your Secret Recovery Phrase. This phrase is used for recovering your wallet or importing your existing wallet into a new device.
  
  

  It is extremely important that you store this phrase securely in a password manager or writing it down and keeping somewhere secure. NEVER Disclose your Secret Recovery Phrase. Anyone with this phrase can access your wallet and potentially steal your coins or NFTs.

  
  

• Once you have securely stored your Secret Recovery Phrase you can go back to the home screen to begin using VeWorld. Please see further in this page to learn how to import your newly created wallet onto another device, if required.

Chrome Browser Extension Set Up

• First hit 'Get Started' and go through the three introductory slides until you reach 'Next: Create Password. Alternatively you can skip these slides and go straight to creating a password.
  
  
• You will now be asked to create your password. We recommend choosing a strong password and keeping it safe using a secure password manager. Never share this password with anyone.
  
  

This password will be used only for the device you are currently using. If you import your wallet onto another device, you will need to set up a new password there.

• Once you have created the password, the next screen will ask if you want to create a new wallet or import an existing wallet. Hit 'Create Wallet' here. (For importing wallets, please see below in the guide.
  
  
• You will now see slides with information on your Secret Recovery Phrase. We recommend reading this as the Secret Recovery Phrase is very important.
  
  
• Once you've gone through these slides, you will now see your Seed Phrase. This is a series of 12 words that are unique to your wallet and serve as your Secret Recovery Phrase. This phrase is used for recovering your wallet or importing your existing wallet into a new device.

• Once you have secured your Secret Recovery Phrase, tick the confirmation at the bottom of the page and hit 'Proceed'.
  
  
• On the next page you will be asked to confirm three words from your Secret Recovery Phrase. You will do this by inputting the correct word for the corresponding position in your phrase. For example, you may be asked to input the 2nd, 7th and 11th words. Input the correct words and hit 'Confirm'.
  
  
• You can now hit 'Go to Homepage' and start using VeWorld. Please see further in this page to learn how to import your newly created wallet onto another device, if required.
